It was an inspiring collaboration and I’m so proud of what the students produced. It’s a good start for what we need to address in the next Angus LDP. I’m also looking forward to seeing what the students do in their careers going forward. @AngusCouncil @jill_paterson1

Very proud of our MSc students @dundeeuni which have helped to shape the development of rural ’20-min Neighbourhoods’ throughout Angus. They explored how the concept can be incorporated into rural contexts, using the county as a 'Rural living laboratory'. https://t.co/0zxdCCailY

What a fantastic day our MSc Spatial Planning @DJCAD, presenting to more than 200 practitioners, an inspirational context for the future of Angus, with ambitious urban design strategies devised to deliver the Council’s application of 20min neighbourhood in a 'more rural context'.

We are at the launch of the new Tay Cities Clean Growth website where we've heard from Gillian Martin MSP Minister for Energy. A great way to showcase the projects being developed across the Tay Cities Region that are driving clean growth. https://t.co/svRzveke3V

It was really inspiring to see the final presentations from the students on their work looking at a lot of key NPF 4 themes and how a 20 min neighbourhood concept could be taken forward in our next LDP.

Enjoyable visit to the urban planning museum in Singapore today. Inspiring to see their vision and what they have done. The main take away is that they plan on having more trees than people. That’s something we need to aim to follow in Scotland to meet our climate change duties.

Always love walking around Singapore. A place designed for people and nature. Green spaces everywhere centred around high density and one of the best public transport systems in the world. You really wonder why we can’t do the same in the UK.

The way cities are is never inevitable. They are a result of choices. What kind of city would you rather have? Paris wasn’t always the way it is today. Until very recently, it was choosing cars. Recently it started choosing people. Via @EmmanuelSPV

Just a reminder that the closing date for both of these interesting opportunities is 26th February 2023. So there are a few days left to apply to be part of shaping innovative and meaningful work on design, places and communities in Angus.
