Jrue Holiday‘s playoffs woes are real and mostly due to his sudden inability to hit pull-ups come postseason. Pull-up 3s since joining the Bucks : ➡️ 260/673 (38.5%) in regular seasons. ➡️ 48/168 (28.6%) in the playoffs.

When OG is on the the court, opponents rim freq. goes +4.6% (=4th %tile) and 3PT freq. goes -4.2% (=98th %tile). This play epitomizes it pretty well; Knicks stay attached to shooters and trust OG’s length, strength, and lateral quickness (= -17.6% opp. rim accuracy w/ him on).

Zach has also become very impressive defending the pick-and-roll. the 6’11’ big man showcased really good flashes playing the cat-and-mouse game to his advantage in drop coverage. Racked up a lot of steals with his active hands there.

He’s shown that he definitely possesses the IQ to feed off those actions better. His TOV numbers are also really promising; amongst the 45 players who had a usage above 28% last season, Siakam had the 6th lowest turnovers rate.

Yesterday, he was the primary ball-handler against arguably THE best perimeter defender and not once did he seemed under qualified for the job. The 23-year-old’s tight handles, composure in traffic and lower-body flexibility are virtually impossible to cover all at once.

Following their most successful season in decades, the Kings have added a tremendously promising player in Colby Jones. Their guard depth is already packed, but the 21 years old certainly displayed why he deserves minutes going forward. Hope y’all enjoyed the breakdown!

Since joining Brooklyn in the KD trade half-a-year ago, Mikal Bridges stepped into a primary ball-handler role, something he had really never done before. And he did superbly well!

Another Ausar ghost screen for Cade out of timeout ➡️ another bucket

Detroit opens up the game with a simple "Ram" screen for Ausar who then ghosts the screen on Cade. Love those sets/ghost screens to get Cade going downhill and mitigate the slower first step+ suboptimal spacing problematics

Really liked Colby Jones’ game against the Warriors yesterday. 6’6’’ wing who can shoot/drive/pass, with Impressive hips mobility on defense. Fits Sacramento’s playstyle and needs.

This play encapsulates well why I’m really high on Ajay Mitchell’s translatable skilllset. Changes gears to attack open space, slows down as he notices the help and leverages his midrange threat + neat footwork to draw help defender. Outstandingly nifty off two feet.
