as @ektrit taught us: supply chains matter

@KEcurious @alexandrionascu @ektrit I like to explain this like baking a pizza: You have invited all your friends, bought all the ingredients. All the ingredients? No, you decided to not buy yeast, because it is such a tiny, insignificant part of the whole... (1/3)

As @ektrit taught us: supply chains matter
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said stockpiling drones for potential Russia conflict pointless, as innovations shorten cycles, technologies shift radically in 2-3 months, including countermeasures. Billions in euros on drones would obsolete tomorrow. Instead, Germany

Interesting how the idea of sameness (clearly Marxist) and harmony (Confucianist) do not tie together - although China is "Communist" on paper (3/3)

I like to think of the Confucianist idea as an orchestra: Only by the use of clear regulations (sheet music) and a single, defined leader (conductor) the music can sound pleasing Confucianism is classical music, not jazz (2/n)

Confucianism is all about establishing HARMONY: "The petty person seeks sameness, not harmony"¹ This reflects in music: "If one should desire to know whether a kingdom is well governed, if its morals are good or bad, the quality of its music will furnish the answer"² (1/n)
You have to understand that dictatorship in Chinese history is quite different from what people normally understand about dictatorship because the emperors are normally guided by the Confucius ideology. Their goal is to govern, not to torture everyone and have absolute control

Down the drain it goes... Same as google, LLMs are hard to monetize - so they take the indirect way by incorporating ads I expect the quality in information retrieval of LLMs to drop siginificantly and biases to only increase

No, different problems: Chess → fixed set of possible moves Detection algorithm → open set of possible moves Look up adversarial attacks
The Marines beat an AI surveillance system using creative tactics…this time. Former World Chess Champion Gary Kasparov was once convinced that a computer chess program would never beat a champion player because it lacked that creativity…until beaten by IBM's Deep Blue in 1997.

The degree however to which Christ shines through the cultures, churches, individuals varies. The reason for this? God knows. On the individual level, I think personal EGO plays a huge role. On the cultural/societal level, conditions of life definitely matter. (3/3)

What we think of as CHRISTIANITY is just our local culture infiltrated by Christ to a more or less (think: nationalist orthodox CHURCHES!!!) degree. In that light, St. Paul also merged his local theology of the time with the encounter he had with Christ. (2/3)

Thought about this all day: So essentially there is no such thing as CHRISTIANITY. There is just Christ who surpasses all culture, tradition, local theology. He infiltrates at his will and always has (1/3)
Buddha is already a Christian saint, St. Josaphat. Christianity christianizes the local culture, as Christ is supposed to fullfil all knowledge.

Some reasons for this: 1) regulations 2) increased building costs ~40% since 2020 3) more single apartments, mass immigration since 2015 4) rents are actually TOO LOW -> amortisation only works if asset prices are constantly increasing Kick-the-can-down-the-road-policy

Germany is near this point now
What Putin is relying on, is that the Western Public will not bear the pain and suffering of supply chains furthering their breakdown, thus causing economic havoc to westerners. Sooner or later, Westerners will demand their govs to pay attention to them, not Ukraine. 26/
