They won't accept my 3 week outta date passport but someone has allowed a bank account show a completely different name to the one I gave to verify it was me!?! Really pathetic Abt to get myself some bullshit pay as you go so I can cancel all EE ties while I source a new phone.

Continuing the bullshit @EE since they apparently can't cancel the upgrade until the phone is return to depo (which the shop needs to do) I'm getting email abt the new bills, and they have my OLD NAME on the account, that was changed in 2014! (& updated all my details back then)
