I feel so bad for my poor mom. She says the house is too quiet. She lost her other dog this year (he and hanna were the same age). Then this. Right in the holidays, her favorite holiday, too. I'd do anything to transfer her pain to me. I hurt that she's hurting.

She passed at around 6.45 am this morning. Surrounded by all of her humans that loved her. We love you, Hanna. Please rest easy now, sweet girl.

My mom got her shihtzu at the same time I got my Chi. For that reason we never separated them when I left, seemed cruel. So maybe you don't know Hanna. But she's the sweetest chihuahua. Never growled, bit, etc. Not the stereotype for chihuahuas at all.

She might not make it through the night, if yes, we bring her tomorrow for euthanasia. Hug your pets.
