This could be made using the LEGO slide elements. Just pulled out my slide pieces to see, not as tight a spiral as this amazing machine but maybe possible.

My Year 9s were asked to design and build a fairground attraction with photocopy paper boxes, a micro:bit, motor board, 9V battery and a geared motor. Lots of mess but fun problem solving. @microbit_edu

Update #Halloween monster with the #microbit. Made the sjabloon with the lasercutter. Had to enlarge the holes for the #servo (forgot the cable with the measuring). Made the eyes, added Adams family theme music and some led lights.
Update. Need more pingpong balls and lights are working.

Slowly we are getting there. Making a #halloween monster with the @elecfreaks board and a #microbit. The 8 servo's are working . Now focus on the eyes and the monster it self.
