My goal this year is 200 books under 200 pages. I’m looking for things my students won’t quit because they think it’s too long. Batcat by Meggie Ramm was a lot of fun and definitely something I’ll be recommending to them.

Starter Villain by John Scalzi is fantastic and fun. I really enjoyed how well the dialog flowed. It was funny and the right amount of weird. Thoroughly enjoyed the book.

I am seeking kids books about hair. Especially hair styles and how to do them for children of color. Does anyone have any good recommendations? Please and thank you.

I asked student yesterday to figure something out on their iPads. Today, three students came in to the library to show me what I needed to know. We have awesome, amazing kids.

Love this thread, titles I read as an adult and loved: The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise The One and Only Ivan The Probability of Everything First Rule of Punk Amari and the Night Brothers Zeus Dog of Chaos Knucklehead Growing Up Scieszka. I’d recommend these to anyone
If you’re an adult and you’re not reading middle grade books, you’re failing yourself. Here’s why. The MG books I’m talking about are written for kids between 8-14, and before you start coming at me saying kids books are for children and therefore are boring and can’t fully

When I was in second grade, our teacher read us, over the course of several days, an adaptation of Cool Hand Luke. None of us knew anything about prisons, Southern culture, road gangs, prisoner abuse, or crime in general, really. We were seven years old, and enthralled. 1/

It’s one of the best series I’ve ever read. The ending is perfect. It was absolutely worth the wait. 10/10, will read again.
Whether it's your first time reading it, or your third time, beat the summer boredom and experience the thrilling adventure that is @boltcity's Amulet series.

Fowl Play @ktubb is an action-packed story of a family determined to find Uncle Will’s murderer. This takes them on many adventures as they check out suspects. Hilarious, poignant, engaging. #BookAllies

My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best
