In June 2011, Rickey Henderson held my 1-month-old “Say Hey Lily,” born on Willie Mays’ 80th birthday. She immediately lifted her arms as if sliding, as if she knew someone special cradled her. This is such a tough day, Rickey was beyond great to me.
