Deploying on exercise does not just mean hard graft in the field. After Ex BULL STORM, many soldiers had the opportunity to conduct AT in Kenya including white water rafting, kayaking, rock climbing, and hiking Mt Kenya.

3 RIFLES teamed up with @Edinburghdrone and utilised @field_army funding to bring a 3D printer to Kenya on Ex BULL STORM to 3D print FPV drones for use in the field. Learning from lessons in Ukraine, this was a valuable proof of concept and at the forefront of Army innovation.

The Battalion has just taken part in Ex URBAN DRAGON delivered by @armyurbancentre. This was a tabletop wargaming exercise focused on defending in the urban in the Baltics. It was an excellent opportunity to further our understanding of enemy capabilities and how we would fight.
