2 Highlanders cadets and adults about to leave Warcop on Ex VENTURER BAVARIA 24. Twelve cadets were selected for this week-long expedition to include mountaineering, rafting and a visit to the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang castle. Supported by the ACCT and Ulysses Trust. @ArmyCadetsUK

Our 3 Star Cadets have just returned from a 2-day navigation exercise. Camping at the remote Bents Farm near Newbiggin-on-Lune, Cumbria, they have been honing their map and compass-reading skills in the surrounding hills. @ArmyCadetsScot @ArmyCadetsUK

Today our 1 Star Advanced Cadre went on a fieldcraft exercise in Warcop’s training area, spending the afternoon applying cam cream, handling weapons and putting up bashas. @ArmyCadetsScot @ArmyCadetForce

Last weekend cadets from Vittoria Company supported and assisted the Tesco Store at Woodend Aberdeen, raising funds for Help4Heroes. Over the 2 days the fantastic sum of £1490.53 was raised. @HelpforHeroes @ArmyCadetsScot @ColCdts51X

We had a great day at @northfieldaca summer fayre doing some ACF recruitment. Although we were hoping to be outside with our gazebo up and bashas built, the strong wind and rain wasn’t a fan of that idea. We are hoping to see some new faces joining the Detachment very soon!😁
