Ya folks know what this is?.Looks like an mmW / Sub-THz log periodic wideband antenna to me. So either some microbolometer or other detector in the middle I think.

Found this thing mounted in the sample stage of my foster SEM, any guesses what it could have been once? It's from Institute of Micro- and Nanoelectronic Systems (IMS) at KIT. (Please say high voltage programmable josephson junction array)

The question is ofc if I should just design my own board and save the euro or two by salvaging the chip or just use the boards as is. Or maybe swap the matching for a 433 MHz to make some use of them.

Got some TI CC1200 boards for fucking around. Especially now that there's more code from the @m17_project folks to do #M17 TX/RX with it.

And if you say "glue them". I fucking did. And guess what. I still have two blotches on it. I continue to hate televisions. Nice to revisit this every few years to reaffirm my commitment to avoid them.

It would be a lovely amp for the 47GHz band, but a tad too rich for my blood.
