There's a strong market for veteran 'D' in free agency: Word is that both Ian Cole and Cody Ceci will get north of $3M annually on their new contracts. Ceci is leaning towards Edmonton, as @FriedgeHNIC and others have reported, on what's believed to be a four-year term.

We were told late last night that the @EdmontonOilers are going to make Kurtis Gabriel a offer, one source said it could be a 2 year deal. As @FriedgeHNIC points out there is plenty of interest for his role. The #Oilers players wanna see more toughness in their lineup.

Ryan Getzlaf has family in Alberta. The #Flames & #Oilers will be front runners for Getzlaf on Wednesday if he gets there according to people around the @NHL & it does sound like Ryan will at least hear from those teams. #CofRed #LetsGoOilers
