At the time of Napoleon’s invasion of Egypt in 1798, the Great Sphinx of Giza was mostly buried under the sand. Since that campaign, the body of the Sphinx has been unearthed through many excavations.

Napoleon wasn’t in power when the wars began in 1792. He was 22 years old with no power or influence. The wars were 7 coalitions against France for 23 years (1792-1815). Blaming him solely for the wars is not accurate and doesn’t even make sense.
