September is Sepsis Awareness Month, and this year’s theme is “It Starts with Sepsis.” That’s why we’re shining a light on how Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) can lead to sepsis, and what we can all do to stay informed. HG is a severe form of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. HG

Today is #MaternalHealth Awareness Day, and we know what’s at stake. Hyperemesis Gravidarum contributes to the leading causes of maternal mortality. How? HG increases the risk of #mentalhealth conditions, cardiac conditions, hypertensive disorders, hemorrhage, and sepsis.

January is #BirthDefectAwareness Month. Addison was born with vitamin K embryopathy due to #hyperemesisgravidarum. Simple vitamin infusions during her mother’s HG pregnancy could have prevented this complication. Nutrition before & during pregnancy can prevent some birth defects.
