Hi there, we're strongly opposed these increase. Our CEO goes into more detail on this & the April price changes here: . We're shouldering the cost to keep our standing charges below the price cap - and the average home will still see a drop of £238 a year…
@OctopusEnergy
Nobody believes you or your arrogant shallow answers anymore. We can see the price of wholesale gas. You are profiteering, ripping us all off. Tomorrow morning we are all going to
@Comparethemkt
to see if there is a better deal available. Let’s hope you greedy woke cunts lose…

@OctopusEnergy
Price increases by stealth they think we won't notice. Same increases by
@BritishGas
. Personally saving energy has very little monetary reduction on bills.

@OctopusEnergy
They're a private company who wants profit. Ocotpus' cutsomer service is brilliant compared to the other big companies like ovo, and the ceo seems decent enough, but at the end of the day its all virtue signalling imo. They *could* lower their own prices more, but choose not to.
@169Nomis
@OctopusEnergy
Because prices are dropping so they have to keep the extortionately high profits coming in somehow. British gas are doing the same.

mid Apr to mid Sep, on most days, I rarely use more than 2-3kw from the grid due to solar panels and planning how to use my energy use for cooking etc. octopus have reduced kw rate to 24p but raised the standing charge to the equivalent of almost 3kw of energy. Con artists.
