Well done to the crew of the @17_RLC Army Work Boat who rescued a civilian who’d been washed out to sea. A ‘real-time’ rescue during Exercise AUSTERE CRUSADER, a Theatre Entry/Enablement Exercise delivered by 39 Engr Regt @Kinloss_Bks, @8EngrBde #Team12.
NEWS: This morning, soldiers on exercise from @17_RLC saved the life of a man overboard in water off the Scottish coast. Responding to a mayday call, the boat’s crew searched the water and found him. They gave him first aid before he was winched to hospital by the coastguard.
