To be honest, even after 4+ years in React Native, it's still a mystery to me why we just don't do an async initialization method for apps, and require this outside/inside React lifecycle dance with splash screen.

I started a new web project with #Nextjs, but after a few days, I realized it’s far worse than I expected. The SSR is terrible, and the middleware is the worst I’ve seen. With all the hype, I thought it’d be amazing - but nope 👎🏻. Back to #sveltekit!
