At this point I have nearly everything I need to start looking at permenant roots, but this is the issue I come up against for the long term projection. Investing in a system that is not going upwards, by default means you're probably going downwards

I hate this by the way and it's a wall I am now actually hitting I spent years developing out my CV, xpanded the qualified skillset within progressive roles - it leads to 0 advance apparently. any position i am now qualified for, actually makes the same but for the tier above.
It’s really not. “Equality” in the Yookay now means everyone ends up on £20–35k through taxes and subsidies. So being a high earner just means working fewer days — unless you’re happy keeping >half and overfunding the state.
