@shurensha you might like the art of learning by josh waitzkin. he has an idea of working on the micro until it happens automatically, free you to be more creative at the macro. I should take my own advice and re-read.

to anyone struggling with recursion (dude… wow) this book is worth checking out. thinking about it through a functional lense via pattern matching with a head and a tail was insanely helpful.
i love hearing about people who you consider to be great coders who struggled to learn coding . i still consider recursion to be the hardest thing i have ever learned.

so i dug through some of my old journals and found some of the earliest designs i did!. i actually forgot about most of these so it was cool to look back and see all of the growth, even if i was unaware of where it would lead in the moment.
@xprunie i got started by re-designing every popular app in a sketch book and in figma, then went on to design and ship my own apps.
