I am committing INR 1 Cr to find Bangalore Choke-Points via Google Maps & AL. 11 km → 2.15 hours in Bangalore Traffic on Saturday late night!. I was stuck at one choke-point at ORR, where I spent 100 mins struggling to understand why there is no traffic-light or cop here!. But

The work was incredibly promising and we were making real progress. But for various reasons, that chapter had to come to a close, and we eventually wound down the lab. Even after we stopped, the problem itself never left my mind. I just couldn't stop thinking about it.

How do we tackle this? We hired a brilliant molecular biologist to teach us the fundamentals from scratch. The next 6 months were an intense deep dive into molecular biology. But the more we learned, the more we realized theory wasn't enough. We had to get our hands dirty.

For me & @sowmay_jain, that "crazy idea" was a question we got obsessed with: why do we actually have to age?. We started by burying ourselves in research papers, but we were just software guys completely out of our depth. The complexity was overwhelming.
