Reminder Lloyd isn’t coming back, curious if Jags go with Ventrell for early downs and then a Rookie/Kiser for passing situations. Not a big fan of Kiser in coverage.

Wouldn’t go that far, he technically traded up to draft a CB combo this year. Rams in the past have drafted LB’s and RB’s on day 2 (Cam Akers/Ernest Jones/Corum). Rams also only picked in the 1st round once during his tenure and had Jalen Ramsey who they invested multiple 1st in.
To all the folks holding their breath that James Gladstone will take D’Angelo Ponds in R2… don’t count on it. Ofc there will be exceptions, but most likely target CB, LB, RB as day 3 positions with this regime moving forward.

More so when it’s a Defensive guy getting a HC job it really matters who they tell the GM they’re bringing on the offensive side. I’d be curious who would be Campanile’s OC, still think Kubiak is the front runner but the Raiders want him too and would pay more than Ari.
Jaguars started doing work on possible replacements earlier this week as well.

The need for a veteran presence in the RB room was touched on by Mia and Dan if Etienne leaves. Kenneth Gainwell should be Gladstones first priority. Can catch the ball out of the backfield, not a liability pass blocking, great locker room guy and is a + in special teams.
