Artists/musicians, etc., always hope for better value for their work & more contact with their fans when they're on Web3. fact is that all contracts are controlled by third parties, and anyone using their own smart contract can't even be sure that it won't be circumvented. 👇.

Why do you think web3 solves the problem?. Musicians have no direct advantage & are even more dependent on third parties than before in Web3. Web3 offers nothing new for musicians to establish direct & lasting contact with fans✌️😉.
When people realize that the music industry currently is on the brink of failure maybe yall won’t be so hard on musicians that are trying to figure out solutions in web 3 . Again your favorite artist that’s has 1m listeners on Spotify - can still barely pay rent and has no budget.

Don't worry, at its core this whole thing isn't about art anyway - it's more like Jersey Shore for a bunch of inner circle people telling others that they're bringing the digital revolution to the world together, while ripping people off with meaningless works & obvious copies😉.
Apparently I’m not allowed to have an opinion about cryptoart because I didn’t mint my first piece till 2021. No matter that I’ve been making digital art since the 1980’s or anything. I get so tired of this kind of oneupmanship in this space - it depresses me to hell ❤️🧷❤️.

not a new phenomenon & what's happening in Cryptoland isn't new either. What's new is just the extreme extent without any counterweight (unnoticeable) & the sheer arrogance coupled with ignorance- I blame the artists, bc they're not able to organize themselves strongly enough✌️😉.
