Hot take but i think describing Velvette's relationship with Vox or Val as being "brother and sister", "dad and daughter", or even "mother of two boys" is reductive. Like Vox and Val's relationship, Vel's relationship with them is also complicated, just in a more platonic way

Headcanon that once Vox and Val make up and maybe finally get a crumb of healthy communication between each other, Val gets comfortable with dressing more cute and casual at home in Vees Tower because he doesn't feel he needs to play up himself as a sex object every second.
