Very excited to announce that our new short Jobless, written by the brilliant Thara Popoola, will be coming to iPlayer this Friday 26th!

The first-ever Comedy Entertainment award goes to @BBCTwo’s #TheRanganation, congratulations to @RomeshRanga and all the team! Judges praised the “genuinely funny, laugh-out loud event - the perfect showcase for the huge talent of its star” #RTSAwards

We are delighted to announce the winner of our MAKE A SCENE! bursary is Racha Sobratee! In her winning script, ‘The Quiet One’, she showed real originality, and a brilliantly relatable lead character, and we are excited to see where her story will go next.

Congratulations to all five shortlisted writers for our MAKE A SCENE! bursary! Thara Popoola, Natasha Mwansa, Charlie George, Anna Antwi and Racha Sobratee. All the scripts were of such a high standard, and it was a pleasure to see them brought to life by our brilliant cast.
