This is an essential listen. Some of the most beautiful music I’ve heard in a while. Departure songs is an absolute favourite album but this might just be greater. Blood Will Have Blood is an astounding closing track, I cannot recommend this enough.

Something I’ve been playing around with recently and this definitely rings true.
quick piece of advice for editing that someone gave me a long time ago that changed the game for me:. don’t look at black & white as a cop out when you can’t “fix a photo.” use it as a tool to convey emotion

Very, VERY much seconding this. I didn’t wear earplugs for a good while going to gigs and I’m lucky to only have a mild background ringing when in a quiet place. I can’t say enough how important it is. Also - I find things sound a lot less muddy with earplugs!.
This is your annual reminder that if you love going to concerts and want to continue to be able to hear them perfectly, please please please protect your ears and wear ear plugs at gigs.

I have to second this. A phenomenal album that has consumed me the past couple of days.
If you like #postmetal you really need to get onto this one just out today: A record about grief and transformation, stunning atmosphere, wonderous power and weight. Just perfection.

Saw Million Moons last night and was absolutely won over immediately. Gave both their albums a listen today and they are absolutely fantastic! Some beautiful instrumental post rock that’s well worth your time
