i want to continue this thought of how agatha and fyodor’s cultures are treated / portrayed in bsd, such as how they’re introduced, how their nationalities are colonial oppressors of ireland and ukraine respectively, and what exactly that means for bram and nikolai. (long thread)
while i understand why bsd can’t focus on bram and nikolai’s cultural identities, it still bums me out that they’re the only two characters who don’t have direct references or mentions of their cultures when they’re so relevant to what bsd is about. (long thread)
