I'm very proud of @museumofplay's new 90,000 sq. ft. expansion (+ outdoor exhibits). I work w/ amazing, brilliant, hard-working colleagues who worked for years to create these. I hope that anyone who loves games & play will find these new exhibits informative, inspiring, & fun!

I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with the @museumofplay on their new exhibits, "Level Up" and "High Score." Each exhibit tackles video game concepts and histories in distinct ways. Anyone interested in video games should make a point to see them!

Shout out to Dan Gross at @WROC. He knows his video games! Really enjoyed talking with him on- and off-camera yesterday about the newest inductees into @museumofplay's World Video Game Hall of Fame:

These finalists were chosen from thousands of nominations, and players could vote in a “players’ choice” poll.

We are thrilled to announce our new issue: "Rest and the Rest: The Aesthetics of Idleness." Delve into the issue by reading a special introduction written for us by the brilliant Jean Ma: https://t.co/dGcp8uprja

Came across an ebay email from 1999 indicating I had successfully purchased this Atari 2600 for @museumofplay. If I'm reading our database correctly, this was the 8th video game artifact in our collection at the time. Now we have more than 60,000 plus 100,000's of archival items!

I’m glad this seems to be gaining traction. It’s long been a thorn on my side.

Assembling a 3D printed helicopter for our Whirlybird arcade game. This is our second time using 3D printing as a method of preservation. The original will be kept in cold storage, while the 3D printed reproduction will keep the game playable by our guests. @museumofplay

Sometimes you just don’t feel like getting out of bed in the morning. And sometimes you just want to die over and over again. Come watch *me* die over and over while @SantiagoMorrice and I playthrough #Bloodborne 730pm https://t.co/PZi3nWeW6d Tv/lakebeastking

No stream today, y’all. My eyes will be dilated this afternoon. This pic of Duncan and Juno expresses @SantiagoMorrice and my collective sadness.
