Today we launched our parallel route implementation of the header breadcrumbs on @vercel. I had a personal goal of making the implementation 2x faster than the current Client Component / useParams() approach. We ended up around a ~3x improvement 🤯

Just saw a demo of the @vercel nav implemented as a @nextjs 13 app/ layout with SSR streaming (top) compared to legacy, client-driven Jamstack approach (bottom). World of difference: ~7x faster! (h/t @z0oks)

In Next.js 15.4 we've added import traces for compiler errors to Turbopack. A big improvement for developer experience as well as coding with AI agents. The import trace is now aware of Server Components and Client Components. It also shows what environment the error happened

The fact that @v0 integrates directly with @vercel means I can:. - do basic testing in-app first.- deploy and test a live deployed version.- view logs to debug issues.- give feedback to try to fix bugs. The cycle then continues and it's pretty nice!.
