I've been building in this ecosystem since 2017. I've seen the ups, the setbacks, and the resilience. SIP-31 gives Stacks the fuel it needs to win the next phase. I’m happy to stand in support the SIP. And @xverseapp is ready to take the Stacks wallet infrastructure to the next

I had some comments/suggestions for the initial proposal. Great to see that some of it has been addressed, namely a mechanism to burn excess tokens if the endowment is successful, limiting the amount of inflation.

For those in opposition of the SIP. Consider the alternative. Without this new momentum, it will be difficult for Stacks to compete with other L2 projects coming online that are flush with funding from 2024.

Yes, SIP-31 involves minting new tokens. And that comes with inflation concerns. But this is necessary. The upside completely outweighs the risks and it’s a net positive for Stacks.
