*financed certain orgs in order to control the direction of Black movements. The NAACP was snitching on it's own revolutionary members under Spingarn & Kaplan. & once SNCC came out in support of Palestine & Black Power, Jewish funding for the civil rights movement disappeared.

Part of the reason there’s such a literacy gap in America is because the ability to have a high level of reading comprehension requires having life experience so that you can understand things within context which is why poor children tend to be further behind
Y’all being surprised and unbelieving about kids who didn’t go to a museum, skating ring or bowling alley until their teens is a reminder to me of how different our lives are. I was one of those kids.

Yeah, no. Your life is made up of all the people you knew and interacted with. They too have a right to come and say goodbye to *YOU* when you die. We don’t own people and that includes family. You cannot control who interacts with other people, that’s unhealthy.
Unpopular opinion: Funerals aren’t community events. They should be for family only. Grief is personal. Not everything needs to be public.
