Had a (very slow shuffle) visit to Edinburghโs Christmas Market this morning. Absolutely heaving but majority of stalls seemed to be food and drink. A handful of craft stalls but way too busy to look around properly. On the upside itโs still called a Christmas Market.

If only Scotland had been independent but it wasnโt and isnโt. The UK has 10* the population of Norway so the oil revenue has a lot more to cover and at the time the decision was to spread the benefit not accumulate wealth.
