Everything spirals downward when you embrace covenant theology. What a mess and confusion over things so clear and simple in the Scriptures.
I can begin with some very modest praise for the Baptists. They at least know that the sacraments go together. To be baptized is to admitted to the Table. Having placed this feather in their cap, somewhat magnanimously, let me take it out again. Those Presbyterians who baptize

I too was very fond of Sproul. He was an excellent teacher and I regret not hearing him in person. I’m very glad to see his comments on the future restoration of Israel.
I loved R.C. Sproul (1939-2017). Still do. I'm not in harmony with all his thoughts, of course, but appreciated so much of what he taught and was blessed by him from a distance as a younger believer. Frankly, I miss his voice in the broader evangelical world. (On a personal
