Advice for a new driver? Is it worth investing that much time and money into a car. (Which I estimate to be about 15% of each paycheck) and all I'll be regularly using it for would be to get to campus and get groceries.

Currently weighing the pros and cons of investing time and money into drivers Ed, getting a license and a car (plus insurance for a first time driver) (got a bike already).I've never had to drive before having been on campus/in big cities and get extremely motion sick.

So. update. Flight yesterday was cancelled. There was a problem with the aircraft and after a few futile hours of not being able to fox it they called it off. BUT put allll of us in the airport Hyatt with Hyatt buffet for lunch & dinner and packed us a breakfast at 5am! @Delta.
