I just returned home from a great showcase of talented baseball players in NC. Really looking forward to having one player in particular for a school visit at Berea this fall!

Top POLITICAL headline from the Lexington Herald-Leader 🤷🏻‍♂️ @joesonka you should ask the gubernatorial candidates their stance on this issue.

Dear GOP colleagues, before you offer your hot takes on student debt relief, please make sure you or your colleagues didn’t have one of your government loans forgiven. Otherwise, I will absolutely scorch you. Yes, I’m looking at you @RepMTG.

Although the election didn’t go as I hoped it would, it’s not hard for me to be happy that there is a new State Rep in Lexington’s 79th District. I have known @Chadaull for around 20 years. He is a friend, and I am confident he will be a strong leader in the KY State House.

The Lex Legends ask me to throw out the first pitch, then I got to meet the first woman in history, Alexis “Scrappy” Hopkins, to be drafted by a pro baseball team! They then presented me a jersey with my name and the number 79 (for the 79th Legislative District). What a day!
