Beyond his strong research output and technical skills, Sungwon also demonstrated excellent collaborative skills and productivity, successfully delivering valuable software packages to our DoD partners.

Sungwon's work has been published in premier VIS/HCI/VR/AR venues such as @acm_chi, @ieee_tvcg (presented @ieeevis), and @ismarconf, with several additional papers currently under review. He is genuinely passionate about emerging technologies and human-centered design!

His PhD research centered on creating innovative data science workspaces within immersive environments. He developed a suite of impressive interactive systems in VR/AR tailored for data science workflows, encompassing data transformation, visualization, and analysis.
