🚨 A British Army officer has been shot dead during training at the Otterburn range in Northumberland National Park The Royal Artillery Captain was hit in the back during a live firing exercise at around 8pm on Sunday. His next of kin have been informed.

Well that’s it, time for the decorations to come down. It’s been a great Christmas and lovely to have some time off, but normal routine returns tomorrow and an adventure is starting to draw near.

Ginger, one of my India Runner Ducks, was looking a bit sad and not moving much in my garden, so she’s come inside for a hot bath and hair dryer, and is now inspecting my Christmas tree. She seems a lot happier. The boy however is not amused!!
