There are players who could fall into depression and might never return to their previous level because of a selfish and unprofessional decision by a club competing at the highest level. I hope such things don't happen again at our club.

If Marc Guéhi handled the cancellation of his move to Liverpool professionally last summer, that doesn't mean every player can deal with the situation in the same way.

If you know that you cannot guarantee playing time for a certain player, then all you have to do is not contact his club to sign him in the first place. But to carry out the medical, take photos, do everything, and then back out at the end? this is not professionalism.

I have been a fan of Dwight McNeil since his early days at Everton, and I'm not happy that he has become a bench player there after being the team's star almost two years ago. However, what our club has done has nothing to do with professionalism.

I love my club, but what it has been doing recently in the transfer market has nothing to do with professionalism in any way. Last summer, the club blocked Marc Guéhi's move to Liverpool at the very last moment, and now it is doing the same thing with Dwight McNeil. 🔽🔽🔽 #CPFC
