We got together in HS. Went to both proms together. Graduated together. Moved in together. Moved states together. Came back & started all over together. Got married. Had a baby. & Today we bought our 1st home together 🏡 THANK YOU GOD! I know these kids would be so proud 🥹❤️

this time the last THREE years, I was stressing about getting off to buy gifts for Christmas, getting off in time for Black Friday & Christmas Eve, etc.. why God give me two jobs that align perfectly time-wise, where I’m OFF when the school systems are off????

I asked for better… and that’s why everything around me is changing. People I thought were solid don’t fit my life anymore. Habits I used to love feel pointless. The old conversations don’t move me, the old circles don’t impress me, and the old distractions can’t reach me.

Unfortunately I'll never be the girl who holds things in. Forever confrontational, forever vocal. If I don't talk about it, I don't care.
