I do believe he would have been actively involved in Emily’s life had Scully been successful in adopting her.
But, my headcanon will always be that he’s the bio dad of all three of her children.
Mulder was so good with Emily. He would have helped Scully raise her like his own if she had lived and Scully had been able to adopt her.💔😭🥺😍

It’s not likely at all but I like to tell myself they took sperm from Mulder, maybe at Ellens AFB, and that Emily was created from M&S as much as any alien dna.

I go back and forth on whether or not he’s her bio father. It’s definitely possible, but there was no indication made one way or the other so I just don’t know. I go back & forth. But, I do believe that he would feel like she’s his whether he & Scully ended up together or not.

Same. As far as the show goes, he’s probably not but since we don’t know for sure I think of him as her father in my head. In some of my favorite fics he’s not the bio dad - like All That is Dark and Bright - and I still love it.

I totally agree and my headcanon was always that he was Emily’s dad I really enjoy the fics that explore through and all the other fetuses that could exist. It would make sense they do that and use the kid as leverage as well

Thats my headcannon to. Theres been plenty of opportunities to get Mulder’s DNA. From when he was a kid (we don’t know what was done to him after Sam was abducted) right up until the events of DT. Regardless, I think he would’ve taken on the dad role anyway (had Emily survived)
