This just arrived today (Dell AW3423DW). Super excited to finally get an OLED monitor! Living up to my expectations so far - inky blacks, motion clarity looks superior to an LCD at same refresh rate too. First time I've ever used a high refresh rate OLED.

PSVR 2 announcement is exciting! I’m not sure how likely it is to happen, but would be cool if Valve brought Half Life Alyx to PS5.

Most exciting thing about the Steam Deck for me is that it should play a big role in improving game compatibility on Linux going forward. Definitely helps that it's a more mass market device than the Steam Machines were, gives developers more of a reason to pay attention.

Wow, super intrigued that IO Interactive is working on a 007 title. Been too long since we've gotten a good Bond game, and the Hitman dev seems like a great fit.

Did anyone manage to get an RTX 3080? Never even saw the Buy button pop up on Nvidia’s site and was refreshing at 6am when orders went live. Newegg, BB all sold out under a minute too. Securing a PS5 pre order was easy compared to this.

Old Asus router has been giving me issues lately so I spent some time redoing my networking setup and installed pfSense. Set it up in a VM with a dual NIC Intel card passed through, works great!.

Listening to and it really makes me want to do another playthrough of the original Deus Ex. Some good remixes here as well, though I prefer the original versions (especially The Synapse).

Been running Vagrant VMs for awhile as my development environment and recently moved to Docker. Not sure why I didn't make the switch sooner, finding it a lot better at least for my use case.

Running Ubuntu 20.04 LTS on my main workstation now! Upgrade from 19.10 went smoothly, the new lock screen is very slick and the performance improvements to Gnome are quite significant in this release. Really happy with the state of the Linux desktop these days 👍

Just played a bit of HL Alyx. Really blown away by how good this looks, and the level of interactivity is amazing. Also playing without teleporting is the way to go imo, only issue is the option to disable snap turning doesn't seem to be working right now.

If you have the computing power to spare, consider running Folding@home to assist with Covid-19 research/treatment. I've started running it on my 1950X + RTX 2080 Ti system, every little bit helps

Bummed that E3 2020 is cancelled, had plans to go this year too :( Probably a wise decision though given the uncertainty right now.

Gave the FF7 remake demo a go - really impressed! Think I'll always prefer the turn-based combat of the originals, but the new system strikes a good balance between action and strategic elements. Looks amazing in HDR too!.
