I asked my friend at Twitter how he’s doing. He said he can’t complain.

I love using cli tools when I can. But I recently found out that one of my favorites, fasd, was archived. So I made a modern version in go. https://t.co/iiEztYcSd3

Update: It went into review after four days. But more surprisingly, my next version went into review within five minutes of submitting. Feels like they’re trying to make up for last time.

Typically my iOS app store reviews have been completed in under 12 hours. However, I submitted a new build on Wednesday and it's still waiting for review. Anyone else experiencing longer wait times lately? Is this seasonal?

I'm trying out Apple Search Ads for my first time to promote an app. I got $100 promo credit, which is nice. But they don't tell you your remaining balance. In the docs, they tell you to do the math yourself across al your invoices. Lol, what is this? Just tell me. You know it.

I just downloaded the latest Android Studio to make some updates to @ScorePad_App and got this. Who is this for? Does anyone want a "badge" for downloading software?

Apparently Biden was an hour late departing SF in Air Force One, disrupting the FAA's schedule and causing a chain reaction of tons of delays. My flight is now delayed 3 hours.

I’m pleased to know I’m still a window person after an 11 hour flight to Seoul without getting up once. Also, 호떡 (hotteok, a type of Korean pancake) is so good!
I always pick window seats on flights. I’m typically pretty good at sleeping the whole way. But flying from PIT to SFO this morning, I felt claustrophobic on a plane for the second time in my life. I had to walk around a bit to calm down. I guess I’m becoming an aisle-seat

The juxtaposition of silly family jokes with the formality and process of Jeopardy makes this so fun with the family. Let me know if you use it and how it works for you. Happy holidays!! 🎄

And lastly, I used ChatGPT to help generate cryptic clues that would make people think. Example prompt: “Help me generate five Jeopardy style clues to describe the following phrase. Use abstract and cryptic vocabulary that makes the clue challenging.”

For the buzzer, we used this web app that worked decent on everyone’s phones. It has a Jeopardy settings that only takes the first buzz and response time limits.

I generated audio clips of the clues by installing the premium voices in MacOS settings then running them through the say command in a bash script. Attach these to each of the slides to play automatically.

For the main game, I found this great PowerPoint presentation that has all the sound effects, transitions, and controls the full game mechanics. I did have to sign up for Office 365 though since it doesn’t work so well on Keynote or Google slides. https://t.co/cHmwPtHQQg
