After most of us fall to freezing tonight, a chilly Monday is on tap! We look to stay in the mid-50s under sunny skies. We're back to 70° Tues before climbing into the low 80s by the end of the week. A fast-moving system will bring a round of showers/storms back to NTX by Sat.

A quiet weather pattern takes over as high pressure remains in control. Sunshine and unseasonably warm temperatures are on tap for the work week. A front tries to slide in next weekend, but the timing is still in question.

Staying seasonably cool tomorrow afternoon after waking up to temperatures in the 40s! Enjoy that taste of Fall because as high pressure strengthens nearby this week, we warm up quickly. Temperatures could be in the low 80s by midweek with no strong, cold fronts in sight!

Clouds and very low shower chances return tomorrow through the first part of the day as a front heads in. By the afternoon, the 60s return with clearing skies and light winds. Sunday morning will feature lows in the 40s with another seasonably cool afternoon on tap.

Very low shower chances remain this AM for northern parts of NTX as our main storm system finally exits. Some patchy fog and a few clouds break for afternoon sun. Another cold front moves in Tue with a few showers. By midweek? The coolest air of the season (so far) arrives!

Winds increase today, setting the stage for an elevated fire risk for western parts of NTX. Please be very careful, and do not burn! Highs will hover around 90° pretty much all week as high pressure strengthens overhead.

Only minor changes over the next seven days as high pressure dominates our forecast! The weekend will still feature comfortable mornings and warm afternoons, with a few extra cirrus clouds streaming overhead. As winds ramp up Sunday, our grassfire risk also increases.
