Our coalition has not been deterred by the University's prolonged refusal to engage with us; although it has taken 9 months of campaigning, 60 days of encampment, and 13 days of occupation, we are more determined than ever to achieve all of our demands in their entirety. 12/12.

From starting the UK's first encampment, to shutting down WMG, the past two months have been a watershed for the movement for Palestinian liberation at Warwick. 11/12.

This occupation is a clear demonstration that creating pressure through direct action is a an effective tool in forcing institutional change. Should negotiations fall through for whatever reason, WSWP will be ready to employ similar means in the future. 10/12.

After months of being ignored by the University, this occupation had the simple aim of securing a meeting with Management. It is absurd that we have had to go to such lengths to establish a line of communication, but we are happy to finally be entering into this dialogue. 9/12.

A pivotal network of students, staff and community members, established through our encampment, consistently checked in on our wellbeing, provided us with food and other necessities, and rallied behind us when the University tried to remove us early in our occupation. 8/12.

Our occupation and subsequent victory was the culmination of a year of mounting pressure from students and staff, and guides us with hope and determination onwards. 7/12.

Holding down such a large and important building for 2 weeks is a remarkable achievement, and demonstrates the strength and determination of the student movement at Warwick and beyond to fight for justice. 6/12.

This is the first time the WMG has been occupied since it was founded in the 1980s. Through occupying such a large building, primarily used for the WMG's administration, finance, and research, we struck at the core of the military complex on campus. 5/12.

We also used our position to disrupt work life at all nearby WMG buildings by chanting through megaphones every day and hosting two rallies outside of the IDL. 4/12.

For the last 13 days, this occupation has halted business as usual for one of Warwick's most complicit departments, WMG, by disrupting over 300 office desks for two full working weeks, and two Open Days. 3/12.

After receiving confirmation from University Management that a formal dialogue with Warwick Stands With Palestine pertaining to our demands will finally be opened, we have decided to end our occupation of the Warwick Murdering Group’s IDL building. 2/12.

While Warwick continues to open itself to prospective students, all university in Gaza has been forced to close due to the bombings of their campuses and the murder of their professors. In the face of their continued deafening silence, we say: we will not stop, we will not rest!.
