We’ve been saying this too much lately, but the WTHS FB program sends it condolences to the Sorby family. Max was a great player who graduated ‘14 and his mom was a mainstay within the program. RIP Mrs Sorby!.

Congratulations to our own Jr RB Aaron Stewart on being named the Chicago Bears 🐻 and Athletic IHSA Player of the Week for his performance vs Hersey last Friday. On the night Aaron had 30 carries for 361 yds and 5 TDs setting a school record.

As I just told A reporter a little while ago Iowa State is getting a great talent but an even better person. Everything he has gotten he has earned! Willis truly exemplifies the 5 pillars of our program! congratulations big fella!.

After a 3 day game and 9 hrs on the bus the varsity FB team defeats a tough Glenbard North team 19-0. S/O to our trainers, managers, administrators and parents for providing us with everything these 3 days. Players and coaches gave up their 3 day weekend, but it was worth it!.

This Weeks 4-16 thru 4/20 Highlighted Lifter is Zack P. Zack has a 340 lbs Bench Press, 475 lbs squat and a 510 lbs deadlift. Zack has multiple D1 offers and boasts a 4.61/4.0 GPA. He is will be a 4 yr member of our program in the fall. Also has nearly perfect attendance #STT

Big morning today. We had the honor to have 2024 NFL draft hopeful Tavion McCarthy come back and speak to our kids about his journey and the process. Tavion also spoke about the huge importance of academics and about attacking and being g great at all things you partake in.

With the support of our awesome AD(s) and Superintendent(s) we’ve been able to have our conditioning camp this whole week with 95% of our kids in attendance. No footballs, helmets or bags. Just iron therapy. Forgot that if I didn’t brag about it on Twitter it didn’t happen. 🏋🏽♂️.
