Whoever is at centre back for #NFFC will need to be switched on to El Karouani's creative threat - he'll look to deliver into the box from anywhere on the left side - and sometimes finds his way over to the right in the second phase of set piece situations too.

In the final third, El Karouani will likely cause #NFFC some problems - but Forest through their right-sided winger will need to take advantage of whatever space the Moroccan leaves behind him.

You can look at things from either direction, either #NFFC need to set up to be solid down their right, or they can look to exploit El Karouani's clear defensive deficiencies.

#NFFC will need to be aware of Utrecht's Moroccan left back Souffian El Karouani, who will likely provide their biggest threat down Forest's right side. He's been one of the most impactful left backs in the Eredivisie this season, mostly due to his 2 goals & 8 assists.

My predicted #NFFC lineup tomorrow. Expecting Anderson to be fully rested, and hoping to see some returns to the bench. Abbott is a no-brainer again at right back, but he'll likely be tested against Utrecht who do tend to be more dangerous on their left. Ndoye gets the chance

Overall, #NFFC have definitely got their hands on a talented player - I'm not entirely confident though that he'd be able to force his way into Forest's 25-man Premier League squad without significant squad turnover/outgoings. We have to remember the squad is already

I've watched 4 of Cuiabano's matches since #NFFC completed his signing, and I'll provide a little overview on what I saw. Pros: As seen in the data, he's a player that loves to cross from deep, and he's put in some really fantastic deliveries this season. He'll mix up low and

This visual shows up Cuiabano's strengths and weaknesses really well. #NFFC have got a left back that is definitely a danger in the opposition half, but who will perhaps let you down if he's forced back into his own box.

On the defensive side of the ball, what surprised me with Cuiabano was his proficiency in the tackle. When defending wide on the left, his duel (both ground & aerial) success rate of 65.2% was higher than the LB average of 54.7%. #NFFC look to have got their hands on a player

Onto Cuiabano's shots now, and only 4 of them came from outside the box, with plenty of them coming from pretty high danger areas. On the other side of the pitch, Savona has done this quite well for #NFFC, so we've seen this is a tactic Dyche doesn't mind using.

I do think this part of his game could really mesh well with Hudson-Odoi. If we look at this actions for #NFFC this season, we can see they are very wide - Cuiabano's willingness to get into more narrow areas could provide Hudson-Odoi (or a different winger) more space.

Looking at his overall actions, it's clear that Cuiabano's profile is not that of a conventional left back - he loves to get into the box and into scoring positions, and it seems he doesn't overlap too often. Defensively, as pointed out previously, lots of his work is done from

Very few of Cuiabano's sonars point backward - this suggests he's a player that wants to play forward and that's certainly something that is a positive from an #NFFC point of view.

Looking at his creative actions, what sticks out here is that very few of his shot assists (open play only) come from high up on the left. He loves to cross from those deeper areas, and that could really suit #NFFC's strikers in Chris Wood & Igor Jesus who have great movement.

No surprise then to see that he profiles very well as a 'Threatening Wingback', again suggesting he's a player who wants to do damage in the attacking half. My main worry with him from an #NFFC point of view is that his profile from this position is not something you really

Overall, Cuiabano stacks up quite well against other left backs in the Brazilian top flight - it's clear to see his strengths lie in attack. He scored 4 and assisted 2 more from that position. Defensively, he's around the league average for most of these key metrics, apart from

Cuiabano will join up with the #NFFC in the coming weeks - but what can Forest expect from the Botafogo left back? Let's have a look! π§΅π
