If you’d like to support me during my 4th cancer diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer, it would make my day if you bought one of my books or shared them with others! I have memoirs on my cancer experiences, and poetry collections: https://t.co/B7djNFI1rI 🙏💖 #LynchSyndrome

Very sad news. I only met Neil a couple of times through my work at Bowel Research UK, but appreciated his insights and commitment to patient and public involvement. At the ACPGBI annual meeting last year especially, I saw he is clearly deeply respected and beloved by many. RIP.
Our friend @Neil_J_Smart has given his final lecture, the apprentices learning from his wise words, great times, & hard work - patients getting the very best. Legacy exists in the actions of those that follow & the stories continuing to be told & yes mate, “You did good” RIP

And I know it's just a TV show, whatever, I'm just trying to give some real life context and representation.

I'm 3 episodes behind on Corrie but can we talk about how the stoma support group facilitator assuming Bethany had cancer is a bit weird? Plenty of people get bowel cancer young, but you can have a stoma for loads of reasons, like IBD, so it'd be odd to assume cancer is the cause

I haven't watched any Mission Impossible movies so the Aldi Christmas advert was slightly lost on me, but for some reason the briefcase with a false bottom made me laugh until I cried 😂 @AldiUK #KevinTheCarrot 🥕

I'm writing the context for my PhD and this quote from James Downar always makes me smile: “Patients are not soldiers, and doctors are not generals. Cancer does not have a geopolitical agenda or an army; it is not even intelligent.” Throwing shade at cancer - you're not smart bro
