Maple have been busy in the sunshine, getting our garden ready. We planted flower seeds and fresh herbs. We enjoyed feeling and smelling the herbs.

This morning Chestnut class found a map and some clues. We followed the clues and found the treasure, it was our new book; The Pirates are Coming.

We have had a new rainbow room built in our classroom and this week we have loved having a quiet space to do our target work in. Today some of us worked on taking turns when we played Pop Up Pirate 🏴☠️

We have been reading Ten Little Pirates this week and have been doing pirate doh disco to strengthen our hand muscles. We were really pleased that all the children joined in with group time.
