Coming home after an amputation can be overwhelming. Familiar spaces suddenly feel different, and the loss can fully sink in. For loved ones, knowing how to help (or when to step back) can make a big difference. Here are some ways to offer support during this time. #AmputeeStrong

After an amputation, the skin on your residual limb can be extremely sensitive. That limb will eventually experience pressure, touch, and forces it wasn’t previously exposed to. Desensitization can help your body gradually adapt, making prosthetic use more comfortable over time.

Whew—we made it through the holidays! 🎄✨ It’s the “most wonderful time,” but also total chaos. Parties, gifts, deadlines, family… it’s easy to feel drained, prosthesis or not. Remember: you can’t pour from an empty cup. The secret to thriving? Prioritize you. 💛 #selfcare
