Derek Draper spent nearly four years fighting Covid. He made huge progress but the struggle became too much for today. He will be greatly missed.

The joy which @dele_official brought to us all is difficult to describe. His decline was baffling. As he starts to recover we also have a better understanding of why things went wrong. Our love for him will never die and his future success will bring us happiness.
I’m struggling to find the words to put with this post but please watch my most recent interview with Dele. It’s the most emotional, difficult yet inspirational conversation I’ve ever had in my life. Watch the interview on @wearetheoverlap here https://t.co/60d4IZwQmR

Only The Times online poll but pretty damning. Whoever suggested the Savile line should be disinvited from No 10 parliamentary prep sessions…

This is the biggest #PMQs since Westland. Kinnock dropped the ball then. Will Starmer put it in back of the net today?

Keir Starmer should be embracing a Commons debate with Johnson on merits of Tony Blair’s time as prime minister.

Can someone please explain to @AngelaRayner that the voters who supported ‘scum’ Tories are the ones Labour needs to attract to win a majority. Demonising the parts of the electorate you need to appeal to is political lunacy.

If Keir Starmer is looking for an issue which unites the country, broadens Labour’s electoral coalition, has a clear dividing line with the government and shows real courage. Then it’s staring him in the face: Afghanistan.

It baffles me that the UK can take a long-term cross-party view to fund Olympic sport from 1 🥇in 1996 (image) to so many 🥇🥇🥇in 2008/12/16/21 and yet in so many other parts of the public realm we are an utter basket case.

Things are undoubtedly bad. But they will never be this bad.

Health: a truly digital NHS, incorporating all of the lessons from Covid and embedding tele-medicine as the default approach to all care. This would allow for more personalised and prompt support but also transparency on benefits and costs. /7
