As for the “5” display, maybe Springtrap can trigger “Power Surges” to disable doors temporarily up to 5 times a trail. Or the number counts down as the doors are being used with full lockdown possible when it hits 0.

Power Name: Malfunction Springtrap can enter the vent network, traversing a pre-placed system. While in the vents: • He moves faster • Becomes undetectable • Can listen to footsteps from above

The vents might function like a combo of Xenomorph’s tunnel + Demogorgon’s portals, but restricted to certain paths. Springtrap could submerge from vents exits or just listen in them giving him a sound-based detection ability like Xenomorph’s tracking.

My speculation of Springtrap’s power involves crawling throw vents around the map. These will let him travel quickly but survivors can counter him by slamming security doors shut. These might work like a hybrid of lockers + shutters.
